It seems that certain breeds of dogs are predisposed to certain emotions. Golden Retrievers always seem to be happy, Dachshunds silly, Chihuahuas stressed, and Basset Hounds sad. The same is probably true for every species, but humans are unique in that when we feel one way we may want to feel a different way.
When criticizing a crypto product recently to my friend Alex Slobo, he shared the banger of a line with me, "Knowing something is crappy is very different than being able to build something that isn’t crappy". When I think in concepts of what I am capable of creating myself, I call a lot less things crap.
