Media constantly showcases world-class talent across every domain, making is easy to be envious. But being bad at something can be positive. If the abilities you envy aren't your priorities, being bad reflects a strategic weakness where you allocated time elsewhere. You should be proud that you're so bad! If you think about skills as races, it's already hard to win a race. Winning multiple is significantly harder, especially when they are in different directions. It's more effective to choose your course carefully and commit to it fully, viewing your losses in other arenas as the cost of focusing in your chosen field.
